Each year the Auxiliary awards scholarships to deserving students from sea-service families. The deadline for all scholarship applications is April 15 of each year. One application covers all of the Auxiliary scholarships below - both Part A and Part B are required.

Our Scholarship Funds

• Auxiliary of the FRA Scholarship - awarded annually to the candidate chosen from children or grandchildren of members of the FRA and the Auxiliary.
• National President's Fund and Scholarship - $1,500 awarded annually by the National President and her committee to the candidate chosen from sons, daughters, grandsons, or granddaughters of Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard personnel - active, Fleet Reserve, Fleet Marine Corps Reserve, Coast Guard Reserve, retired with pay, or deceased.
• The Sam Rose Memorial Scholarship Fund - awarded to the candidate chosen from the sons, daughters, grandsons, or granddaughters of deceased Auxiliary and FRA members.
• Allie Mae Oden Memorial Scholarship - awarded to a candidate chosen from the children or grandchildren of members of the FRA or the Auxiliary.
• NP Scholarship - awarded annually to the candidate chosen from children and grandchildren of members (or deceased members) of the Auxiliary or the FRA.
